Ghosts of Sotterley
For 20 years, the Ghosts of Sotterley have been telling the darkest tales of Southern Maryland’s past. Join us on this outdoor walking tour where you will encounter spirits from the past, unable to rest because of the torment and sadness they experienced during their time on earth.
Tours start as early as 7 pm, and we encourage all of our guests to arrive 15 to 20 minutes as tours begin exactly on time.
PLEASE NOTE: Advanced reservations are REQUIRED and walk-ins cannot be accommodated. Tours are held RAIN or SHINE! All tours are walking tours and may include rough and uneven terrain. Guests are encouraged to dress appropriately for the weather and to wear suitable footwear for the conditions.

Slave Dwelling Project. Joe McGill has taken his message of historic preservation and heritage to over 16 states, drawing attention to those slave dwelling structures that would have been forgotten and ensuring that the places where enslaved families built and passed on their culture will be here for future generations.
