Through a recent partnership with St Mary’s College of Maryland, Historic Sotterley offers an internship program allowing students to gain credit towards their degree. Our internship opportunities allow students to gain valuable experience in museum curation, preservation, education, marketing, donor relations or grounds management. 

In 2023, we hosted four interns, Audrey Barrick, Ashley Conley, Faith Haines and Delaney Murphy (not pictured) who provided valuable support to our preservation efforts through the cataloging of collections, updating our virtual tours, photography and development of new marketing materials.
