We are proud to partner with St. Mary’s County Library for their virtual book discussion on local history book In Relentless Persuit of an Education. The discussion includes speakers who are featured in the book and looks at the experiences of those who lived through segregated schooling until St. Mary’s compliance with Brown v. Board of Education in 1967. There will also be insight into present day students who are working to improve equity in their schools.
