From school field trips to curated events\, Sotterley’s educational programs reach thousands of students\, families\, and community members\, but demand continues to grow. In 2026\, we have already outpaced our field trip rate for the last several years. Schools are seeking meaningful\, local learning experiences\, families are looking for educational opportunities outside of the classroom\, and community members are searching to connect with local history. \nTo meet these needs\, we need your help. Your support today will allow us to buy more field trip supplies\, plan additional hands-on education events for families\, and sustain the programs that make Sotterley a trusted educational partner in Southern Maryland. \nWhen you invest in Sotterley’s educational programming\, you fuel learning\, connection\, and understanding. Help us ensure that Sotterley remains a place where history is not just preserved\, it is taught\, explored\, and made relevant for everyone. \n
