DESCRIPTION:DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER\, THIS VOLUNTEER EVENT HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED TO MARCH 27TH \nVolunteers who enjoy the great outdoors and don’t mind digging in the dirt\, and want to help others are asked to join us for potato planting extravaganza at Historic Sotterley\, as part of our “Growing for Good” program! For the eighth year running\, we are continuing the challenging work of sustainably farming the land. Most of what is produced at Sotterley supports those in need in partnership with local food pantries. \nTwo Potato Planting sessions: 9:00 am and 12:30 pm. This is a family-friendly event – we invite anyone 5 and older to help plant potatoes. Dress appropriately for this weather-dependent* event. Shoes may get muddy if plots have recently had rain. Treats provided. \nRSVP’s requested. \nPlease go to the new event listing for the sign up link\n*If this event is cancelled due to inclement weather\, there is a rain date of  March 27th.
