NEW DATE: Saturday\, March 30th!!!\nSpring showers are making the field a muddy mess\, so we’re postponing our potato planting event until NEXT Saturday.\nTo the awesome volunteers who previously signed up\, we ask that you re-register. For those who didn’t sign up yet\, but want to help out: https://m.signupgenius.com/#!/showSignUp/30e0d4ca4a72ea5ff2-potato \nClick here for more details. \nVolunteers who enjoy the great outdoors and don’t mind digging in the dirt\, and want to help others are asked to join us for potato planting extravaganza at Historic Sotterley\, as part of our “Growing for Good” program! For the sixth year running\, we are continuing the challenging work of sustainably farming the land. Most of what is produced at Sotterley supports those in need in partnership with local food pantries. \nTwo Potato Planting sessions: 9:00 am and 12:30 pm. This is a family-friendly event – we invite anyone 5 and older to help plant potatoes. Dress appropriately for this weather-dependent* event. Shoes may get muddy if plots have recently had rain.
