Historic Sotterley Plantation is pleased to offer its beautiful grounds and unique outbuildings for private and corporate functions.

Sotterley boasts a variety of sites available for rental which can accommodate a broad range of events and be combined or customized to suit your needs. From small meetings to large parties, our venue is the perfect setting for your next event!

Four areas of our exquisite Colonial Revival Gardens, the Pecan Room, Terrace, Croquet Lawn and Garden Room are available for rental.Gardens

Four areas of our exquisite Colonial Revival Gardens, the Pecan Room, Terrace, Croquet Lawn and Garden Room are available for rental. All Garden sites afford gorgeous views and are surrounded by beautiful blooms mid April through early November. Electricity is available for all sites. Tents, tables, chairs, and dance floors may be set up in the Gardens.
Mon-Thurs (9am-5pm) $75/hr; 3 hour minimum
After 5pm & Weekends $100/hr; 3 hour minimum

Sotterley’s Barn is equipped with concrete flooring, ample dimmable lighting and electrical capabilities, restrooms, and a prep area with counter space, large sink, and refrigerator.Barn

Sotterley’s Barn is equipped with concrete flooring, ample dimmable lighting and electrical capabilities, restrooms, and a prep area with counter space, large sink, and refrigerator. The barn has a limited interior capacity of 120 guests seated theater or banquet style, however tents may be set up on the exterior of the Barn to augment the space and facilitate larger functions.

After 5pm & Weekends $150/hr; 3 hour minimum

This charming cottage, nestled just steps away from the plantation house, provides the perfect setting for small meetings and retreats.Spinning Cottage

This charming cottage, nestled just steps away from the plantation house, provides the perfect setting for small meetings and retreats. The cottage is climate controlled and has a private restroom. The capacity of the main room is 25 guests seated theater, banquet or board room style.

The Warehouse is the ideal location for an intimate function. Brick walls and wooden beams create a charming atmosphere.Warehouse

This building is equipped with ample lighting and electrical capabilities, projection screen, ceiling fans and heat. Capacity is 60 guests seated theater style or 40 banquet style.

Secluded and located next to our pier on Sotterley creek, this open air covered structure is perfect for a family reunion, company picnic or casual outdoor party.Riverside Pavilion

This open air covered structure is perfect for a family reunion, company picnic or casual outdoor party. Secluded and located next to our pier on Sotterley creek, the Pavilion has a concrete floor, overhead lighting, electrical outlets, picnic tables and access to the Brink Cottage for restrooms.
